Yes, Taekwondo can be adapted to accommodate a wide range of physical abilities. Southwick Blackbelt Academy offers programs for individuals with disabilities.
Full uniform is used for promotions, testings, tournaments, and demos. For regular class, a Southwick Blackbelt Academy t-shirt may be used in place of the gi jacket, but students must wear their karate pants and belt.
Leadership students attend a monthly class to enhance their leadership skills. They are teaching assistants, demo team members, and special event volunteers.
