Who we Are And why You Should Train Here
Since we’ve opened, we’ve been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through martial arts, education and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members. We take pride in creating an environment for individuals to achieve, develop and succeed in their personal goals.
We strongly believe that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender or experience levels. Throughout all of our programs, students will not only learn the necessary skill sets to protect themselves, we stand behind our realistic and practical approach, confident it will enable every member to achieve greatness and live their best life.

I started martial arts as an adult with my young children at the time. It made such a difference and brought out the inner warrior in me that I never knew existed. Now I can get in front of any audience… deliver speeches, teach life skills and improve the lives of others… My students are my family and I love being part of their lives every day.
Favorite thing about being an instructor? Training our students to be warriors for good. I love to see the growth and progression with all students… to help with the personal victories… and see them break through things they fear… taking self doubt and replacing it with confidence, discipline and black belt excellence in their lives.
As for passions, hobbies, and such – I love Halloween, watching movies, 4 wheeling, spending time with grandkids and love my new bulldog puppies.

I have been in martial arts for 20 years including here at SBBA for 9 years. I teach taekwondo and I love watching the kids grow and progress. My favorite thing is to see the joy on their face when they accomplish a big goal. I am currently working at front counter and will be glad to answer any of your questions or get you set up with your free introductory class!
